Arguably the LA region’s favorite DJ, Jeremy Sole returns to us for an essential encore at Dance Ground. 

Widely known and loved for his radio show on KCRW, which spanned 18 years until shuttering last year, Sole is a major force in Los Angeles music & nightlife and beyond. 

Having collected vinyl from around the world for 35+ years, Sole serves up DJ sets and remixes that juxtapose global sounds and resound as sonic rituals. His sets are for the “genre non-conforming,” blending or downright transcending era, style and tempo.

Sole’s staple residencies and musical projects such as Afro Funké, Le Frique Sonique and theLIFT span across Afrobeat, Latin, Brazilian, Cumbia, Spiritual Jazz, dubbed-out dancefloor beats, and much more. 

He has shared the stage and/or recorded in the studio with musical legends including Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Seu Jorge, Ms. Lauren Hill, James Blake, Parliament, Quantic, Joe Bataan, the list continues. 

For over three decades Sole has utilized his music event curation and DJ career as a platform to promote unity, equality, solidarity and social change worldwide.
